Bartolo Paone, founder of our company and current president, took his first steps in the telecommunications field back in 1975, working in the Fintel group and becoming one of its partners in 1980. Thanks to his entrepreneurial spirit, in 1983 he founded his first company, the Irtec, and at the end of 1987 he founded a company called Sitel. He has kept on operating in the telecommunications sector working with both his companies. Inspired by his desire to take challenges and his great intuition, Bartolo Paone felt the importance of diversifying his business. So, in 1992, he took over the company called Ciem Montaggi, which had operated in the energy sector since 1975, fully entering into the sector.
OUR HISTORY SO FAR...
1998
Bartolo Paone understands the importance of creating a single company and, thanks to the experience he acquired, founded CO.GE.PA. Srl, incorporating the two pre-existing companies called Sitel, and Ciem Montaggi.
- CO.GE.PA. Srl becomes an S.p.A., and takes the name of CO.GE.PA. Telecommunication S.p.A.
- The company stipulates important contracts with major customers, such as TIM, becoming a network company for the regions of Umbria, Puglia, and Campania.
2010
2010 until today
Our company signs important contracts with major customers, such as Telecom Italia, and Enel, becoming a network company of Telecom Italia for the regions of Umbria, Puglia and Campania
Our company owns 70% of the SCIE Consortium and, through this advantage, it wins the Multizonal Enel contract in Umbria, obtaining the monopoly on the maintenance, installation, and design of both overhead and underground electric power lines, and also primary MV / LV cubicles, with works in primary HV / MV cubicles.

Bartolo Paone gives the guidance of the company to his son, Vincenzo, who inherited his father's great passion for the company, his talent and entrepreneurial skills, his confidence in team work, and his desire for constant improvement.
Bartolo Paone signs contracts with TIM for the creation of broadband connection networks (BL large bandwidth/BUL ultra-large bandwidth - Infratel).

- Bartolo Paone signs important contracts for A&B, and C&D clusters with the new 'Open Fiber' Telecommunications Company.
